Get on track with Track Fitness
Toronto, Ontario – 57 per cent of
adults aged 18 and older are considered insufficiently active
for optimal health benefits. The majority of Canadians still
face increased risk of chronic disease and premature death
due to physically inactive lifestyles. (2001 Physical Activity
Monitor)
The key to a happier and healthier existence
is getting on, and then staying on, the right track. Larry
Track, a 28-year-old fitness expert with a cult-like following,
just opened a personal training facility, Track Fitness, in
the crux of the Forest Hill Village. When clients walk through
the door, they are greeted by an intimate studio with hardwood
floors, original artwork, floods of natural light and top
of the line equipment, which gives each person a warm energy
and calmness that most fitness facilities do not offer.
Always an exercise enthusiast, in 1999 Track
attained a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and decided to
dedicate his life to helping others achieve their personal
and fitness goals. By working exclusively one-on-one with
his clients, he provides the comprehensive instruction and
personal attention required for lasting results.
Elite college athletes, company presidents
and stay-at-home moms/dads have all benefited from Track’s
consultation because he eliminates all the uncertainty surrounding
nutrition and weight training, and demonstrates how to execute
each exercise properly. By providing detailed, easy-to-follow
coaching, clients learn eating habits and workout tactics
that are personally customized to fit their needs. In order
to accommodate each individual schedule, training sessions
are available at Track Fitness or in the client’s home.
Adhering to his own advice, Track, an avid
runner and tri-athlete, has completed the Boston, Ottawa and
Chicago Marathon once, and the Toronto Marathon four times.
He is currently training for the New York City Marathon. This
spring, he will be running weekly running clinics that are
fun, educational and push your limits.
Since earning a degree in Kinesiology from
The University Of Western Ontario and completing his CPTN
certification, Track is a recognized fitness expert and has
been a panellist at numerous health-related seminars. He contributes
regularly to and writes two columns, Get On Track and Tip
Of The Week, for the Weight Watcher’s Web Site. Recently,
he appeared on CFTO in a four-part series about how women's
fitness has changed from the 1920s to the 1960s. His new book,
Get On Track, is due in 2005. Check out www.trackfitness.com
for more information. Whether you want to lose weight, increase
your endurance and energy or get on a proper eating/fitness
plan, Track Fitness can take care of all your needs. Results
are guaranteed.
