Plan your workouts!

The most common excuse "I don't have enough time" is very unhealthy. Everybody has a few hours each week to exercise. Plan ahead. Schedule yourself into your day and week. If you keep putting off your exercises, it will be New Years Eve and you'll be saying "This year I'm getting in shape". Start today and plan for tomorrow.

Don’t skip breakfast

In order to reach and maintain optimum health and fitness, good nutrition is an essential part of any exercise regime. Skipping breakfast could slow down your metabolism, which could result in undesired weight gain. Lay off the snooze button and get up for breakfast.

Set a specific goal

Make sure to set specific “realistic” goals. Don’t make your goals vague. Write your goal down and keep it somewhere you’ll see it each day (fridge, mirror, screen-saver, couch etc.). What are you training for? Set your goal and go after it!

Add fitness to your daily lifestyle

Too many of us take the easy road. Try taking the escalator, stairs or walk the golf coarse and don’t always circle for the closest parking spot. Take a few minutes each day to use your body outside of the Gym. This could add more healthy years to your life. Enjoy your health!

Make a fresh start with fruit!

I’m sure you have often felt bloated or had indigestion after eating fruit. The reason is that fruit needs to be eaten properly. To often people eat fruit at the wrong times, although it’s a healthy choice your body won’t make eating fruit enjoyable unless you...

  • Eat fruit only in the morning (before noon and on an empty stomach)
  • Eat fresh fruit. The body is only capable of utilizing fruit in its natural state. (Apple pie, frozen fruit, canned fruit etc. Will not digest smoothly)
  • Depending on the food, wait 2 – 8 hours before eating fruit. (To make this easier I recommend the first point)

*All Fruits are digested in the Intestines except for Banana's, Dried Fruit and apricots, which are digested in the stomach. If you have food in the stomach, fruit will not be able to be digested and will rot in your stomach making you feel bloated and uncomfortable.
